How come no one has mentioned Russia and samovars yet?

They could have put up a mains-powered samovar with a coin box bolted to it and a sign reading "1 euro per coffee.

I've only read about samovars in Russian novels by authors like Gorki, Chekhov and others.

But the train from Moscow to Uzbekistan was fascinating in its own way, red leather and steaming samovars, fresh-caught fish being sold on the platforms of these rural stations alongside enormous kebabs of mysterious meat.
