Rend in a sentence as a verb

You rend your garments and ask forgiveness, but you can never be sure what you did wrong.

Heck, even medium-large quadrotors can rend flesh quite easily and the small ones can do enough damage to make you respect them afterwards.

Believe it or not, that doesn't compile because begin and end have different types due to begin/end returning different iterator types than rbegin/rend.

Although I find myself slightly disappointed it wasn't some inverted version of the rules where tiny little pockets of unlife rend their way through teaming colonies of automata.
