How to use Contrast in a sentence as a verb

Rest in Peace, Mouse Dusk: Last night, we found one of Iris' last two remaining mouse, little grey Dusk, dead in her cage. Iris cried, of course - Dusk was always her favorite: in contrast to her lively sister Dawn, she never ran away when you picked her up but just sat quietly in your hand. Iris said: "'Dusk always told Dawn: 'you really don't need to work so hard, you know. All you really need to do is *exist* - just calmly exist for a while...'" Large lessons from a little mouse to a not-so-little-anymore girl...

O ne day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of your hairs white, Mum?' Her mother replied, 'Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.' The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, 'Mummy, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?'

By contrast, incidents like Sandy Hook and Aurora get wall-to-wall coverage for days with people such as Morgan screaming for guns to be outlawed. But when some armed citizen bravely thwarts an attack by criminals - which happens far more often than mass murders in our country! - all we hear are crickets. Why do you think that is?......"

Both Ecuador and Bolivia are embarking on new paths of social and economic development toward what they call “sumak kawsay,” or “living well.” This indigenous concept stands in contrast to the neo-liberal model of development that’s always about growth. The mantra is more productivity, more growth, more consumption of resources, ad infinitum. Ad nauseam! In contrast, “living well” is about developing in harmony with nature, meeting human rights and satisfying basic needs for all, and living in balance.

Was such a contrast to see them work hard and diligent, no complaints, just working to make a living and provide, came back to America and saw on tv complaining, bad attitudes, only wanting pleasure, what has happened to us that work is something we put off on others! Keeping this scripture in mind will be a motivator!!!

Fear of people can hamper everything you try to do. In extreme forms, it can make you afraid to leave your home. By contrast, fear of God-respect, reverence, and trust-is liberating. Why fear people who can do no eternal harm? Instead, fear God who can turn the harm intended by others into good for those who trust him.

I seem to only post on this account when I'm trying in vain to start an rp, or more recently, when I'm feeling horrible. I should try to post when I'm happy too, just to provide some contrast so it doesn't seem like I'm just some perpetually frowning emo. Let's start right now. Due to some things that happened yesterday, my life may finally be looking up, and I'm mostly happy, if a bit nervous that things might fall apart since nothing is really for sure just yet. It's not as good as being jumping with joy, but I'm genuinely happy right now, and I thought I should share that. Also, my cold is getting better. :3

I have a very serious question and would like as many commits as possible. What does love look, feel, or sound like to you. From the one who is being loved by someone else? Such as between a husband and wife, a parent and child, friends. When you are shown acts of love what are they? I think so many people go thru life being so involved with a busy life that they forget to love the ones most close to them. Life is crazy enough without having to feel unnoticed or unloved. I'd love to be able to see the contrast between men and womens opinions. I personally would like to take the time to love the ones that God has so blessed me with!

It is the denial of death that is partially responsible for people living empty, purposeless lives. When we live as though we will live forever, it becomes too easy to postpone the things we know we must do. When you live your life in preparation for tomorrow or in remembrance of yesterday, each today is lost. In contrast, when you fully understand that each day you awaken could be the last you have, you take that day to grow, to become more of who you really are, to reach out to other human beings.
