Tropism in a sentence as a noun

Yet again we gotta watch this awful corporate PR tropism.

There’s a few recent preprints that discuss the HS relationship with Cov-2, and can go a long way to explain the tropism of the virus. The HS can overcome lower expression of ACE2, by possibly supporting the attachment.

It's almost a tropism. It's not somebody's conscious conspiracy or mustache-twirling evil plan, it's just the nature of these societal mechanisms we're living with.

It's not a property that emerges automatically from pattern recognition or from any mechanical tropism. This is the underlying problem with these kinds of arguments.

The fact that they feed and use the chemistry from their metabolic pathways to drive things like plant locomotion and tropism is a clear indicator for "information" processing. He [Wahram] was very aware of this, having lived the process many times; so he paid attention to what he did when he traveled, on the lookout for those first repetitions that would create the pattern of that particular moment in his life.

Since surface proteins are responsible for host tropism, changes in these proteins imply a change in host specificity of the virus. According to reports from China, there has been a gain of host specificity in case 2019-nCoV as the virus was originally known to infect animals and not humans but after the mutations, it has gained tropism to humans as well.

Science communicators/journalists can turn "Methodological observation of the sociometrical behavior tendencies of prematurated isolates indicates that a casual relationship exists between groundward tropism and lachrimatory, or 'crying,' behavior forms." into "Scientists find that falling down makes babies cry" but they're less good at expressing concepts like "math equation forms the basis for all current modeling, papers A, B, and C each use a different special case of the equation to reach their conclusions."

We need not sidetrack ourselves into discussion of any direction we may observe this tropism to take, in order to recognize that no field may be reasonably regarded as rigorous which is so happy to discard those anecdotes which fail to conform with some apparently predetermined preference of narrative, and place value only on those anecdotes which support it.
