In 2015, a reasonably computer-literate person could do something close to that with SquareSpace or Wordpress.com in probably....

The workbetter.us domain redirects to a Squarespace landing page that has no real info (who, where, etc.).

A non-technical person would rather use Squarespace or WordPress.com and be done with it.

For example, maybe they want to know the difference between SquareSpace and Wordpress?

And, on a more wysiwyg level, there are plenty of new companies like Squarespace offering a service targeting the same user-base as WP.

I'd rather build them some microservices in Go but sign them up for SquareSpace instead and fill in a template.

Just tried it on squarespace, it works like a charm!

Is that standard behavior for squarespace sites?

I know Squarespace uses Mongo for some of their analytics.

A site on Squarespace costs $8/m and gives you unlimited storage and bandwidth to distribute your music; for $18 more, you get to use the ecommerce part to sell your stuff.

I really don't think Google is the problem for someone making websites, its Tumblr and Squarespace that make it super easy and inexpensive for a business owner to make something slick themselves.

So in the end you have a product that is too complex for a normal person (this is why squarespace or facebook pages do well) yet it's a platform that tech people feel is a bit of an old hack.

I have a friend who was an Ivy CS grad, worked at Google then worked at Squarespace.

Most websites are made through Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, and similar products.

When I come across large sites that don't support any encryption (I am looking at you, Squarespace), I struggle with content to send them to prove my point but this will do nicely.
