Ironically, the wikipedia page for Selectron tubes actually has more useful information on Williams tubes than it's article does...

Some of the other sfermions would be the sup squark, the scharm squark, the sstrange squark, the selectron or the stau.

Worth taking a look at Selectron memory too.

The Selectron tube hardly became mature enough to be integrated (it had to be scaled down, and its intended use case ended up going with the competing Williams-Kilburn tube).

Electron => selectron, quark => squark, etc.

The name Neutralino comes from supersymmetry theory and it is neutral particle (electric charge is zero) but if the naming is just saying we are better than electron and should be the modern alternative one that will replace it, then the more suitable name would be selectron (electron superpartner and it is a boson!).

Memory had cathode ray tubes, mercury delay lines, dekatron and selectron tubes, core store, core rope, magnetic drums, tapes and discs, magnetostrictive delay lines, magneto-optical discs, and probably many more I don't know about, not counting the write-once formats like punched card and tape.

They told me a repair vendor (Selectron I think) needs a replacement motherboard from Japan (no idea why so!).
