Pedagogics in a sentence as a noun

IMO it would be false to not describe Waldorf pedagogics as a cult.

A PhD in the subject of study and maybe one course of pedagogics will necessarily skew things a bit.

My assumption is that a teacher needs to be an expert in not only her subject but also in pedagogics.

It appeals to me based on my own experience, yet it isn't a showcasing of scientific rigour within pedagogics.
