The ending is mind-blowing, and, similar to Return of the Obra Dinn, the whole universe story is weaved perfectly, everything falls into place at the end.

Thus far I'm just using cursor and the Claude code extension alongside obra superpowers, and I've been quite happy with it.

I've never gotten motion sickness playing a video game before Return of the Obra Dinn.

I've never heard of Obra Superpowers, I'm looking at it now.

Honestly I started with Obra superpowers and worked with my boss to brainstorm the best way to keep separation of concerns, and we just stepped on rakes as we developed and had Obra superpowers suggest updates to our rules/skills.

I also loved the conceit of the Obra Dinn but the visual style made me feel physically ill to the point I couldn't continue with the game.

I use a plug-in called Obra Superpowers.

Another great one-man-team is Lucas Pope, creator of Papers Please and (currently in development, but the demo has already seen great reception) The Curse of The Obra dinn, as well as a few Ludum Dare games.

Antichamber, Tunic, Talos Principle, Blue Prince, Return of the Obra Dinn, Outer Wilds, Superliminal, literally every Zachtronics game (most especially Opus Magnum)...

I think the best flex here to illustrate real work being done is so far the longest single rig I've kept running continuously was about 4 days, so that means a large implementation spec being executed with test driven dev approach from obra superpowers + independent deep contextual code reviews at milestones (my own skill pack) + automated vercel agent-browser testing along the way.

Same reaction - I love puzzle games (The Witness, Talos principle, Blue Prince, Myst series, Baba is You, Antichamber, Obra Dinn, Opus Magnum etc), but haven't heard of this.
