Fun fact, there's more "NZ manuka" honey sold annually in the UK alone than is actually produced in NZ.

Some will use a manuka honey dressing; some will use flamazine; some will want to use stuff like inadine or jelonet etc.

Oh I'm not saying manuka isn't as exceptional as it's supposed to be, I'm just saying it does get special import treatment which likely drives prices up in NZ since more of the production goes out to non-NZ consumers.

It's interesting to hear about the different impacts of essential oils, though when you consider manuka honey also has healing properties as well, it stands to reason that other natural plant extracts could have similar properties.
