I'm not at all dismissing Polywell fusion; but this article isn't written by people who can credibly exposit it.

I don't disagree with you but I was speaking to the premise of the article, which exposits that one should "run the other way" when people come bearing questions.

If you read the opening section of the article, the writer clearly exposits that more traditional retail stores closed down as the cities were subject to deindustrialization and suburban flight.
