Buccaneering in a sentence as a noun

It's semantics but just in case "Viewed from London, buccaneering was a low-budget way to wage war on England's rival, Spain.

To many, that buccaneering spirit is an integral part of Formula 1.

I do agree that people should spend vastly more time on endgames, certainly more than they do on openings, but I'd always thought of him as a buccaneering, tactical player, and that colours a lot of his advice.
