No minds were changed here, people just batten down the hatches to protect themselves and their families.

But that some people claim to be making the world a better place, and others batten down and actually do make the world a better place.

These organizations holding my PII haven't historically given half a damn if all my data gets exfiltrated or not. By electing to pursue the other side of the coin these attackers provide incentive for those companies to batten down the hatches, causing my PII to become more protected as a side-effect, thus leading to a greater feeling of safety.

And I'm asking you, with the number of infection doubling daily in countries that don't batten down the hatches, or quarantine because everyone should just get back to work as you said -- what is the acceptable number of deaths before quarantine is acceptable?
