Unexceptionable in a sentence as an adjective

I've worked in union and non-union shops, most have been pretty unexceptionable to the point I'd never tell a story about them.

The clash with theology was inevitable, and must be forced upon him ; and his defence on this point was entirely sound and unexceptionable.
