Sorry but no. This isn't a tory only thing.

The entire tory party elected Cameron that way, it's not complicated at all.

Most important I really don't believe that "it will make no difference to me as my constituency is a safe tory seat, even with all the simulations.

Not to sound disrespectful, but it's been obvious for some time that these issues are systemic and have very little to do with who is democrat or republican, labor or liberal, tory or whig.
