Solicitousness in a sentence as a noun

It's good for novice observers to see you called out and corrected, and for them to see you reply with appropriate solicitousness. Second, it's sometimes really hard to know.

Today, computer scientists have been damn near actively begging for women, to the point that the solicitousness itself is becoming offensive, as the author points out. There gets to be a point where advocacy turns into trying to tell women what to do.

Just my amateur psychologist 2c, but that combination of brutality on one side with solicitousness on the other adds weight to my view that he was a high-functioning sociopath.
