Ratiocination in a sentence as a noun

Why should it matter what Darwin thought of it, given that the theory has underwent much further development and ratiocination since his time?

The rules and guidelines aren't meant to encourage their compulsive ratiocination; they're meant to serve as a security blanket, to give people enough courage to actually start interacting.

I agree that it is a bad analogy, but I think it goes far beyond supply and demand differences: Music is performed mostly by muscle memory, "system 1", while code is developed mostly by ratiocination, "system 2".
