Masochism in a sentence as a noun

No that's just programmer masochism. If a tool is easy to use, then I get whatever I needed it for done, and done quickly.

There are probably uglier projects around, but I don't have the creative masochism to think of them.

But then again, masochism is a reasonably common, if not normal, thing.

I'm sure masochism is involved, but the good stuff is just hard, and you have to be willing to be someone's idiot some of the time to learn.

As far as I can tell, I was drawn to Physics out of sheer masochism. In highschool I excelled in history and English without putting any effort in, but had to work on my math and physics to do well.

We are also well aware of "Monday morning madness" too - pre-planning stress for Monday morning is akin to masochism.

Tablets for productivity just feel more like a form of masochism if one to use it to write code on even with options out there[1]. If i desperately need to do something right away, sure, but most of the time, my laptop is with me if I also have my tablet.
