Impurity in a sentence as a noun

To me the 'impurity' of FP in Scala is it's strong suit.

Those are considered pits of impurity quite often.

This little bit of impurity combines with network effects to create big problems.

?Without going into too much detail, there are ways in Haskell to isolate impurity to a small part of the code which is clearly marked as impure.

And if your business rules are inherently impure, then it's not clear to me how a language that tries to ghettoize impurity makes them easier to implement.

Again, there is no way to directly cause this I/O action to be executed, which would necessarily introduce impurity.

While it is true that they are more or less necessary in order to introduce practical impurity into Haskell, being necessary doesn't make them a shim or a hack.

I'm blaming it on the overall system of incentives that I have observed seem to come up a lot more frequently with impurity and dynamic and/or weak typing.

Looking at the history of all other programming languages it's difficult to find one that hasn't succumbed to the temptation of impurity at some point or another.
