Good-tempered in a sentence as an adjective

The OP assumes that there are good-tempered and bad-tempered people and that we remain in our respective categories throughout out lives.

If the bridegroom drinks his coffee without any sign of displeasure, the bride-to-be assumes that the groom is good-tempered and patient.

Perhaps I have not really a good temper at all, but if you have everything you want and everyone is kind to you, how can you help but be good-tempered?
