Brusk in a sentence as an adjective

I believe this is due to a somewhat brusk comment you made earlier, but your other comments deserve to be seen.

"But it's a little bit brusk to say that Linux is just superior because it has centralized application management"I know.

I feel it easier to be brusk and borderline rude when speaking French, but also appear to be timid and shy in that language, and probably also humorless.

Thank you for the reply, I was a little worried that people would think the question too unpleasant and just downvote to oblivion!I was trying to think of explanations for the apparent callous nature of the emergency doctor who tried to discharge him from A&E and the nurses who gave equally brusk treatment.
